Sunday April 7th 2013 - Service of Celebration + Buffet Lunch


Let us rejoice together as we celebrate the centenary of Worship from '1913 to 2013. In April 1913, the Synod of Glasgow of the United Free Church of Scotland, elected Wallneuk into a charge-thus was created the last United Free Church in the town of Paisley. The service on Sunday, April 7, was a feast of memories for people of all ages in the church. The centenary committee put in a lot of thought and preparation into the whole day and this was evident, listening to the conversations that took place; Greeting people who had moved away, looking at photographs and other memorabilia,
stretching right back to the very early years. Enjoying conversations which started with: "Do you remember when .....and ending with bursts of laughter. All the comments I have heard, from a wide section of people, have been very positive. Below are some pictures to remind us of a great day...
